Victoria Peak offers incredible views across Central, Victoria Harbor and across to the mainland. At a height of 552 metres, the skyscrapers of Hong Kong Island stretch below you and offer the opportunity for an iconic view of Hong Kong. Try timing your visit for later in the day to watch the sun set across the harbor and Hong Kong light up beneath you.Looking out in the opposite direction cab see Lamma Island and the wider South China Sea. Before the Peak Tram residents reached their homes via sedan chairs.
Today the area remains an upmarket neighborhood. There’s a few different ways to reach the Peak. Most tourists take the Peak Tram which has run from Garden Road in Central since 1888. It takes around eight minutes to reach the Peak Tower. The 15 bus runs from Central Pier before climbing Peak Road. If you’re feel athletic, Old Peak Road is a trail which runs from the edge of Central direct to Peak Tower.
