The Staten Island Ferry runs from the tip of Manhattan across to Staten Island which is one of the five New York boroughs. While it’s primarily a commuter service between these two separate parts of New York, it’s where you’ll get a photo of the skyscrapers of southern Manhattan as well as the Statue of Liberty. The trip is around 25 minutes each way is entirely free.
