Punts are flat bottom boats suited to the shallower waters of Oxford’s rivers. From here you can take the River Cherwell south past the Botanic Gardens and towards Christchurch Meadows and the River Thames. Or head north past Magdalen College and through University Parks.Punts are propelled and steered by a long pole which is pushed against the riverbed. If you’re feeling less adventurous, pedalos or chauffeured options are available.
