The Astronomical Clock sits on the side of the Old Town Hall on the corner of Old Town Square is and is one of the most recognisable sights in Prague.
Originally built in 1410 the clock saw a number of additions across the year. In the 1600’s the figures were added which now recognise every hour. The clock and these figures were badly damaged in 1945 during the Prague Uprising. These were repaired in 1948. Make sure you’re there on the hour to see the figures mark the changing time.
